Tax preperation no no's

Every year people rush to go have their taxes done by a tax preparer or they do it themselves. The need for everyone to go get their taxes done early usually has to do with people wanting to catch up with bills or so they can take a much needed break from work. This should not be the main goal for getting your taxes done. People seem to forget that when we get our taxes done that we are asking Uncle Sam to pay us back all the money that was taken out of our pay checks, retail purchases, insurance and so forth. In the process of everyone rushing to have their taxes done, they are also losing out on money that is right fully theirs. Every year the IRS gets hundreds of thousands of dollars in unclaimed money that belongs to many of us. If we do not claim for this money, then we will not get it back. This year lets all make an informed decision when doing taxes and claim everything that we can possibly claim, because remember this money is rightfully ours.
